A first in North America, Montgomery County's own Woodborne Creamery uses a robotic "voluntary milking machine."
Cows come in to be milked when they want, typically between two to three times per day.
Woodbourne Creamery is Montgomery County’s first all new dairy facility in 60 years. They are licensed as a Grade A dairy and processing facility and are now selling their Golden Guernsey Creamline milk at their on-site market. They report they are in the process of testing cheese production and expect to have that product available soon.
