DED Helps Companies Sell Globally
The Montgomery County Department of Economic Development and the U.S. Department of Commerce’s regional U.S. Export Assistance Center team up to offer assistance to Montgomery County companies that are engaged in exporting products and services.
Sign up to meet confidentially with a joint team of DED and U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade professionals for current, reliable information and guidance pertaining to exporting or selling products and services in overseas markets. Get confidential advice in a one-on-one setting on:

The U.S. Department of State’s Direct Line program
The U.S. Department of State’s Direct Line program provides a unique opportunity for American businesses, particularly small- and medium-sized enterprises, to engage directly via teleconference with U.S. Ambassadors overseas. The program is open to American companies that are interested in expanding their businesses into those countries. Submit Your Foreign Investment Project
As part of an ongoing effort to promote foreign investment and encourage prospective financiers to choose Maryland projects for their ventures, the Maryland Department of Business & Economic Development’s Office of International Investment and Trade is developing a booklet of both public and private projects throughout the State that are seeking foreign investment. The easy reference guide will feature opportunities in a variety of industry sectors as well as contact information for the appropriate project managers. The free service will be available online and in print form after release in early 2013.
